Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will be rolling out school buses for the new school year which begins today September 3, 2012. As Jamaica continues to improve there infrastructure to ensure the country will increase there competitive edge in the 21st century, they elected the best practice approach which is to invest in the children.
As a result, 350 buses are expected to be on the street by next week. While the buses are set to operate in Kingston, St. Andrew and parts of St. Catherine and St. Thomas, it’s a great start. Our hope is for JUTC to extend the services to rest of the island. See article
