PM Portia Simpson-Miller at the 68th General Assembly at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. She called for Reparation to countries that were driven by the Atlantic Slave Trade. As Ms Portia Simpson-Miller address the United Nation General Assembly and all the global leaders, she express world economic concerns. Jamaica Prime Minister is look for global solution to economic devastation around the world. Ms Portia Simpson-Miller is open to any idea that can help to better Jamaica’s social as well as economic advancement both abroad and local that will improve the country’s image. Those were some of the message from the prime minister to the UN General Assembly in New York.

Economic Sanction
An additional topic of the PM Portia Simpson-Miller was to end the economic sanction against Cuba. The Prime Minister also used this trip as a relationship builder with world leaders starting with the President of the United States President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.

1982 when then President Ronald Reagan visited the Island. During The president visit, he went to the University
Of the West Indies. When he greeted the audience with some patwe when is “Greeting massive, Wah gwann Jamaica”
The student / audience, could not contain themselves, as the bust out in the laughter hearing the
President speaking Jamaican. During the President vist, he went to Bob Marley’s Museum.
There he was able to get more on the history of Robert Nesta Marley.
The President was able the meet 14 leaders menbers and the Secretary Generalfrom the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
While on the Island, the President took some time to take a photo with Usain Bolt.
