Once again, Groovin in the Park Concert 2016 the greatest Reggae, Rhythm and Blues Concert in North America is scheduled for June 26, 2016. The music festival is Groovin in the Park.  This annual concert features the best artists in Reggae Music and the best R & B artist reggae fans and families have grown to love. Groovin in the Park has become a staple in the community. The promoters have found success by bringing the best of both worlds to a family friendly audience. Location

Groovin in the Park Concert 2106 will be held at Roy Wilkins Park in Jamaica Queens NYC. The park is located at the intersection of Merrick Blvd & Baisley Blvd. As thousands of fans make their plans for this first class concert, the conversation is getting louder and the expectation remains high. Now with less than forty days before show time, the promoters are paused to deliver yet another great show with this sensational line-up. After speaking with one of the shows promoter Clement “Ras Clem” Hume, he said, “Once again this year’s performers were selected by the fans based on availability.” Hume went on to say, “This concert is for the people and we are happy to present this line up of outstanding artist.”

 

Confirmed Artists

Groovin in the Park presents R&B singer and songwriter Brian McKnight, a Grammy nominee multi talented artist. On the Reggae tip is the Boss, none other than Beres Hammond. When it comes to Beres, reggae fans can’t get enough, they are ready to ‘Rockaway’ just like one of many of hits. Beres who has blessed the Groovin stage twice before, will be the only recurring artist to bless the Groovin stage for a record three times. The fans have spoken, “We want the Boss”, and the Groovin promoters were able to deliver once again. Next on the R&B side is Peabo Bryson. Bryson is a two-time Grammy Award-winner. Also, R&B legend Regina Belle, a Grammy Award winning will join the powerful lineup for the Groovin in the Park 2016 concert.

 

Reggae Icon

One of the real big men, an icon of Reggae Music will finally make his first Groovin appearance, Mr. 54-46 That’s My Number. Mr. Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals will bless the Groovin stage his many hits. To round out the Reggae lineup is songstress Tessanne Chin and Duane Stephenson. Tessanne Chin who was the winner of the major network NBC talent competition in America, ‘The Voice’, will bring her sensational silky voice to wow the crowd and give them goose bumps. Duane Stephenson, a great singer as well, will join a star studded lineup. This lineup will be ready to give the Groovin crowd the fabulous concert they have come to expect over the years.
