We are the proud grand children of Peter & Olive Hinds. As stated in an article written in one of Jamaica’s newspaper The Gleaner, Mr. Peter Hinds was one of the leaders and a member of Jamaica’s first recorded Pioneer Club in the late 1930s. The Walkerswood Pioneer Club was founded through the efforts of D.T.M Girvan on the direction of Jamaica’s second Chief Minister (Prime Minister), Mr. Norman Manley as a way of helping Jamaicans to become more self reliant.
