Bob Marley Photography: Rare and Unseen Images.

United Kingdom Photographer Dennis Morris share some of his personal and professional memories of Bob Marley. Mr. Morris had the opportunities to spend a number of years with Bob whenever Bob tours England. You can say Bob took Dennis under his wings and allowed him to come into his inner circle. These photographs of Bob Marley comes from Dennis collection of Rare and Unseen Images. Needless to say, Bob Marley photography from Mr. Morris are near and dear to his heart because of the respect he earned from Bob Marley  During their time together, these photos were taken. In addition to many more that were on exhibit in Los Angeles CA. entitled “Bob Marley: Giant” gallery.

Rolling Stone’s Magazine March 2014 issue was a special collector’s edition of Bob Marley which features unseen images of Jamaica’s greatest reggae artist of all time. The King himself Robert Nesta Marley and the story was written by Simon Vozick-Levinson. Dennis Morris pointed out that Bob did not pose for any photo, but he understood the value of photography and did not object.

As Morris described the time he spent with Bob Marley around 1979. He stated, “Bob was at the height of his powers”. Mr. Morris said, “You could see the vibrancy and his presence was enormous… He knew exactly what he was there for the power of his music and the power of himself. Bob believed in himself and tried to instill it into others. He knew what people could do if they believed in themselves. The man truly was a messenger.” Dennis Morris is very passionate about the times he spent with Bob Marley and he is proud to call him a friend.

Morris went on to talk about the incredible sense of presence Bob had. He described how Marley conquered the world and touched many lives. As the never ending conversation continues when it comes to Bob, his lifestyle remains fascinated because of his impact on so many human being.

In 1980 while Bob was in London, this photo turned out to be the last photo Dennis Morris took of Bob. Bob Marley died the following year on May 11, 1981.
