Also, some rental houses offer drivers as well. If you and your family members are renting a home for vacation, ask the host if transportation is included as an amenity. What to Know Before You Go
The first thing to do before visiting Dunn’s River Falls is to prepare your clothing. You will get drenched with water, so bathing suit attire and water shoes are a must. It’s not a smart idea to wear sandals or go barefoot. If you happen to forget your shoes, you can buy a pair at the entrance. And you should also bring a towel and dry clothes for after your climb.
Cellphones are permitted, but if you’re hiking up, be sure to put it in a waterproof cell phone case that goes around your neck. If you’re taking private transportation, you could leave your personal items in the vehicle. However, if that’s not an option, there are lockers for rent at the bottom of the falls. In regards to safety, the park advises against pregnant women and people with serious medical conditions doing the climb.
