Staying at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Resort and Spa
Of the almost 40 Ocho Rios Jamaica resorts Moon Palace is in the top 10, but some might even argue a top 5 would fit the palace resorts Jamaica even with the most exigent criteria in mind. We analyzed 4 main groups of travelers and their opinions to make an idea on how much this resort fits each of their needs. Here are our findings:
Groups of friends gave this resort the highest ratings; none of them were mildly or completely dissatisfied with their stay, services, or overall experience in the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande resort.
Business travelers were also content with their stay. The hundreds of people who traveled to Jamaica for work and chose this resort only had positive feedback.
Most couples were satisfied with the experience the resort had to offer. However, there were some that found the Moon Palace Jamaica did not meet their expectations.
Families that stayed at the Moon Palace were generally happy with their stay. Nevertheless, some families had negative experience
The most frequent complaints revolve around receiving a different type of room and being unable to fix the mistake, taking too long for the room service to meet a demand, or employees’ attitude towards customers. However, customers also reported unfit services, refurbishments being made during their stay, and mold or mildew in some of the rooms – which is worrying and unacceptable for a 5* hotel if it is true.
Of the Palace Resorts Jamaica, Moon Palace definitely is one of the nicest accommodations you could find. Spacious rooms and pools, privacy, and a wide array of services should account for a great exotic vacation. The staff’s friendliness and helpfulness are also a big plus.
However, there is place for improvement. From what we could gather, management seems to have some issues with controlling and organizing the staff – which can be extremely hurtful to the resort’s reputation. There also seems to be an improper guests-to-employee ratio, especially during the high season in Jamaica.
Bottom line: Moon Palace Jamaica certainly has potential – but it still needs some organization and improvement to be considered fit and well worth its price overall. We’re not saying choosing this resort is throwing money out the window; No, that would be exaggerated and uncalled for. What we are saying is, don’t be surprised if things do not go the way you expected.
