Jamaicans Happiest People in the Caribbean say UN Report

According to the United Nations-commissioned World Happiness Report taken on July 06, 2012, Jamaica ranked 40 out of 156 nations worldwide as the happiest people in the Caribbean. This is not to say that Jamaica does not have its problems with crimes and slow economic growth. However, the country continue to embrace positive ideas as the saying goes, “Jamaica, No problem.”

Music is Jamaica biggest export. It’s quite fitting that the happy island decided to collaborate musically on a song entitled “Sweet Jamaica” featuring Mr. Vegas, Shaggy, and deejay Josey Wales joined by the likes of deejay U-Roy, Marcia Griffiths, Barrington Levy, Leroy Sibble, Beenie Man, Cocoa Tea, Freddie McGregor, T.O.K, and Ce’cile, Christopher Martin and Tony Curtis singing a happy song. Jamaicans have always been people with big ideas who see the glass as half full. The people of Jamaica remain confident with the motto, “Wi likkle but wi-tal-a-wah (we are small but we are strong) .

There are environmental and social problems, but the people of Jamaica are resilience. Common sense solutions will overtake bad decisions of past years which is our opinion why Jamaica was ranked 40th. happiest country. Therefore, happy ranking Jamaica and Jamaicans its great to be associated with the happiest country in the Caribbean.
